If you’re headed to Portland and enjoy the outdoors, this boho wood shed is the only option of where to stay. I would have moved right in, if possible. Although it’s not actually in Portland (Oregon City) it’s a short drive from the center of downtown. I’ve stayed in a lot of Airbnb’s in my day, and this my friends, is by far the most spectacular.
One of the coolest things about this place is the art!
The host had a traveling artist from Washington stay at their house for over a month to complete the beautiful, colorful murals you see. Talk about picturesque.
Ohh, the charm.
It becomes very clear how thought out and hand picked all of the decorations are, making every detail unique and interesting. You’ll find antiques with a country, bohemian flavor that will make you fall in love.
The inside of the boho wood shed is out of a magazine.
With two of the walls of the shed covered in hand placed, thin slices of wood, and the other in rustic metal, you have to awe at the craftsmanship. The furniture fits the vibe perfectly, and comfortably sleeps four people.
It’s just as lovely at night…
Don’t forget to brag about your stay in the guestbook…
And eat some local berries!
There is also a common indoor area for you to enjoy! Just inside this cute purple door.
Inside you’ll find lots of games and seating.
You’re not alone at this Airbnb. There are very cute and friendly cows that live in the field behind the property, and will make their way to the fence for food, water, and of course, attention.
The bathroom and shower are outside.
Like I said, this place is for you outdoorsy people. In my opinion, showering outside is a major perk.
The amenities the host provided were so generous.
The fuzzy robes for you to wear after your shower, as well as shower sandals if you didn’t bring your own, were very helpful. Expect coffee and tea in the morning, and water at all times. There is a small fridge and microwave for your use, as well as an entire dining area. They were also incredibly friendly, inviting us to join them for some night-time festivities.
The fire pit is awesome as well! It’s surrounded by comfortable benches and again, the coolest lights and decorations.
This property is also available as a wedding venue (they hosted 8 weddings this summer!) There is a large grass space, where I can imagine the ideal wedding would take place. Dreams do come true.
The hosts, Dianne and Dale are the sweetest people who will make you feel right at home.
